"While I Wait" is a mixed media piece that explores the emotions and desperation felt throughout a decade of medical appointments while searching for a diagnosis and treatment for severe menstrual pain.
Dyed cotton, embroidery thread, acrylic paint, sequins, hospital letters, pill packets, nails, screws and ribbon.
In 2025, I took up swimming again. These are some thoughts from the pool - why I swim, who I do it for, and why swimming isn't 'boring' to me.
